We’re all about kids…
Kids on the Move is dedicated to serving children of all ages with rehabilitation needs, providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language therapy services to children from birth to 21 years of age.
At Kids on the Move we are committed to providing family-centered care that is based on the individual needs of each child. Working closely with families, schools and other community resources we work to ensure that each child reaches their maximum potential.
Individualized Therapy
Our pediatric-trained therapists tailor therapy to each child’s developmental stage and individual needs for the most effective results. We provide both clinical and home-based services as well as school consultations. Therapists work closely with family members, doctors, therapists and other caregivers to maximize progress for each child.
Occupational Therapy – Occupational Therapy utilizes a child’s “occupation” of play, self-care, school and community activities to promote greater independence throughout life. Our Therapists focus on development and promote independence in the areas of fine motor, self-care, perceptual, cognitive and social skills and adaptive technology.
Physical Therapy – Physical Therapy is the art and science of using exercises and activities to promote wellness, detect impairments and improve function. Our Physical Therapists strive to help children with a multitude of diagnoses improve strength, balance, coordination, and endurance so they can function to their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
Speech Therapy –Kids on the Move’s ASHA-certified and state licensed Speech-Language Pathologists serve children who exhibit a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities. We promote the development of functional communication within the home and community, as well as address feeding, swallowing, and oral motor deficits, social language skills, peer interaction and developmental play.
